Today we are looking to the Southwest to continue our search for the best truck stops in the US. This area of the country holds a lot of great options when you’re searching for a spot to rest or fuel up. Here are some of our favorites!
Buc-ee’s: Texas
If you’re driving through Texas, Buc-ee’s is the place to go for a quick rest and refuel. The chain holds a great reputation around the state. This is your stop to find a clean restroom, array of gas pumps, and delicious road trip snacks (the beaver nuggets will change your life).
Russell’s Travel Center: Glen Rio, NM
This stop makes the list for its classic car museum (with free entry!). Located on historic Route 66, this travel center prides itself on providing a great customer experience. With additional amenities such as a tire shop, chapel, and complete grocery store, you’re sure to find what you need at this stop!
Gore’s Travel Plaza: Seilling, OK
Whether you’re looking for a quick drink stop or a hearty meal, Gore’s has what you’re stopping for. The travel plaza is home to 2 restaurants and a grab and go meal stop, allowing you plenty of meal options at all hours of the day. If you’re looking for a longer break, use the trucker lounge holding laundry facilities and clean showers and restrooms.
